Steve Edwards, PT
Owner
Steve was born and raised in Rexburg, Idaho but has lived in Las Vegas since 1998. He received his undergraduate degree at BYU and his Master’s of Physical Therapy degree from Idaho State University. Immediately following graduate school, he and his wife moved to Las Vegas for his first physical therapy job. He started Achieve Physical Therapy in 2004 and is passionate about helping others achieve their goals. When he’s not working, he loves spending time with his wife and four children attempting to play the guitar, traveling and eating street tacos.
Tara Oyasato, DPT
Tara is from Aiea, Hawaii and has been living in Las Vegas for about a year now. She did her undergraduate at Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR where she received a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science. Tara then went to the University of New England in Portland, ME and got her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. During her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, weight lifting and thrift shopping. Tara also recently rescued a dog and has been spending a lot of time training him and finding new trails and walking paths to take him on.
Jim Washabaugh, DPT
Jim Washabaugh is a doctor of physical therapy hailing from Northfield, OH. Jim completed his undergraduate education in Exercise Science at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH and received his DPT from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, UT. Jim provides PT services with an emphasis on manual therapy and is a firm believer in the therapeutic power of a well-timed joke. In his free time Jim competes in powerlifting events and is known to be happily obsessed with golfing no matter how badly he scores. Most of all, Jim is dedicated to his profession and is more than willing to experiment with treatment parameters to help each individual he works with achieve their most demanding goals.
Nikki Wellman
Director of Administration
Nikki was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. Nikki has been working at Achieve Physical Therapy since 2007 where she started as a rehab technician. She loves the idea of being able to help people reach their physical therapy goals. Over the years, Nikki quickly rose through the ranks and now handles all of the administrative duties as well as oversees the accounts department. Her focus is making sure that she deals with all of the headaches that insurance can create so that the patient can completely focus on their treatment and reach their goals. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, playing soccer and being outdoors.
Thannia Cardenas
Patient Care Coordinator
Having moved to Las Vegas at the age of 7, Thannia has lived her the vast majority of her life. She finds great satisfaction being able to be a part of helping people heal and return to their normal lives without pain. Since joining the Achieve team, she believes she has found a second family that holds the same values and interests. When she isn’t behind the front desk, she can be found spending quality time with her daughter.
Morgan Taylor
Insurance Verification/Marketing
Morgan was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She initially studied psychology for her associate's degree and is now pursuing a bachelor’s in graphic arts and design at Southern New Hampshire University. Morgan finds fulfillment through making others laugh and helping people in any way she can. In her free time, Morgan loves reading, being with family, and hanging out with her albino axanthic hognose snake Sal.
Arlette Delgadillo
Rehab Technician
Arlette is a Las Vegas native who is currently gaining experience in the medical field as she prepares for phlebotomy school. In her free time, Arlette enjoys spending time with her family, especially her nieces. Arlette has spent the past 2 years providing excellent care to all of the patients at Achieve and takes pride in helping the therapeutic process of each individual. Arlette also acts as the primary interpreter for Achieve's spanish-speaking patients making her an integral part of the team.
Eric Chew
Rehab Technician
Eric is originally from Saratoga, CA and moved to Las Vegas in 2020 when he transferred to UNLV to complete his undergraduate studies. In 2022 he graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology. While at UNLV he was able to work with the athletic training team and assigned to cover the Rebels football team. In the near future he plans to attend grad school a become a physical therapist. In his free time Eric enjoys playing sports and hanging out with friends.
Palani Aflague
Rehab Technician
Palani is currently attending UNLV studying kinesiology. Her goal upon graduation is continue with graduate school in physical therapy. Palani enjoys smiling, finding great places to eat and working at Achieve.
